Recommendations for Flash/GL comics?

I’m starting to take an interest in the Flash and Green Lantern but I don’t know where to start. Any recommendations for comic series currently available on this app?

The Geoff Johns run of GL from 2005-2011 and the GL Corps book from that era are both really solid. I’d just start at the beginning of one or both of those and go from there. I feel like most GL books since then(with the exception of Grant Morrison’s current run) have been lesser versions of these two runs.

I second the Geoff Johns GL recommendation. His GL run begins in the Green Lantern: Rebirth mini-series which started in 2004 and ended in 2005. It continues in the ongoing Green Lantern series that started in 2005 and ended in 2011. His GL adventures conclude in the New 52 GL ongoing (that began in 2011 after the previous series ended) and runs from issues 0-20 and Annual #1.

I recommend Johns’ Flash too. It runs from issues 164-225 of the Flash ongoing that ran from 1987-2009. 164-213 are here, however ATM #209 is from an older Flash series and not the correct issue from 2004 that it should be (this error has been pointed out, but has yet to be fixed).

Geoff Johns GL run is one of the best comic runs ever. There are a LOT of them on here. Look up Green Lantern (2005-2011).

I agree with Geoff Johns’ GL.

I really liked the 1987-2009 Flash series as well, particularly starting with the Mark Waid run (Grant Morrison and Geoff Johns also had runs in this series). This is Wally West as the Flash. If you’re looking specifically for Barry Allen, he’s the Silver Age and New52/Rebirth Flash. The TV show adapts stories from both characters.
