Random DC Odd Thoughts

A place to share “shower thoughts” on DC. Weird things.

For example:

Ra’s al Ghul’s middle name is “Al.” Like the guy from Home Improvement. Next time he attacks Batman just remember that.

Darkseid used to have hair. Did he lose it? Does he shave? Is there a period of time where he was balding?

With Alfred dead, who is cleaning the Batcave? It has got to be filthy down there.

What are your random thoughts?

I dreamt that I was at a comic book store and my brother asked me what Tom King book was my favorite? I guess my brain went into overdrive because my confusion and indecision caused me to woke up at 4:00am.

Mmm well al in this instance means “the” in Arabic. His name means head of the ghoul. So it’s not like a normal person’s name

I didn’t once claim they were rational thoughts. As a matter of fact, the less rational the thought the better.

I’ll take one for the team and ask the big questions that everyone else was too afraid to.

Do Martians poop?

Is there an alternate universe where a helpless human accidently comes flying through a bat’s window and it becomes Manbat?

I wonder, what does Wonder Woman wonder?

You are welcome.

Hey, no harm no foul! Now you know a little bit of Arabic and more Ra’s al Ghul lore too

I’ll never tell.

Oh, no problem. I knew that, it just hit me and I found it amusing. Thanks though!

Since we’re on the subject:

Do mermaids poop?
And if so,…how?

Speaking of the Batcave, how does Batman get all of that stuff in there? Okay, he can simply drive the Batmobile in there, but what about the other stuff, especially the trophies? You would think someone in Gotham would notice, “Hey, why is a giant penny being hauled to Wayne Manor?” or “Where is that giant playing card going?”

I wonder if Scarecrow’s mask is itchy, since it’s just a bunch of burlap. I can’t imagine it being comfortable

Good point. Is burlap even breathable?

Not really.

It’s really hot* and the noose can be rough.

.* not that kind. You know what I mean.

It is but it gets all in your mouth and is unpleasant.

How do I know this you ask? Authentic cosplay. Maybe mine, maybe someone else. It’s not too bad but it isn’t comfortable.

Some of these are going to take a second cup of tea to ponder…

Oh yeah, all those squiggly little pieces, right?

I’m almost positive there’s never been a single point in my life where I’ve worn burlap over my head, and yet I’m somehow drawing up the exact experience perfectly in my mind …

I was a bit worried this post was one of those “take what OP said and completely turn it around because I said so” type of replies but the cosplay part made it all make sense. Thank you

It’s like Red Hood’s helmet is actually realistically more breakable than we may realize. I know when it shatters in parts in comics it’s meant to be dramatic but as someone who took a bat to my ex’s Red Hood cosplay helmet, it really is easily breakable.
