Was it ever stated by the writers exactly what Toyman was? I could never tell if it was a remote controlled android, suit, or possibly even Toyman having turned himself into a toy. My google searches have failed to answer my question. Anyone?

I was under the impression he was a kid/short (I don’t know what’s PC these days) and wore a mask. However, I seem to remember some questions about this coming up in the comics based on the show. I’m also interested in the answer. You should ask… The Question!
