So I’m currently reading all the new 52 green lantern and green lantern related books. I was going to read forever evil when the series caught up to it but I was wondering if I needed to read any justice league first. I haven’t read new 52 justice league and was just going to wait until later to read it. Is it okay that I skip it when I read forever evil or is it necessary?

It sounds like you are focusing on Green Lantern, and he is really not in much of Justice League.
I read Forever Evil before I read big chunks of the previous Justice League issues, and everything made sense. Just reading the site’s extended Trinity War issues should be enough, and if you have the basic detective ability that is not needed either.
