So I was about to read doomsday clock so I looked up the reading order to see what I needed to read beforehand. I already read rebirth #1 and all the Superman reborn issues. I know about Batman/flash the button, what I don’t understand is how detective comics: a lonely place of living(issues 963-968)ties into it. Do I need to read it beforehand or can I skip it and have no issues reading doomsday clock?

It really doesn’t. From what I remember, there was maybe 1 very brief reference to the Watchmen stuff, and even then it wouldn’t have been anything crucial. W/ the books you’ve already read, as long as you’ve also read the original Watchmen, you’re definitely all set to read Doomsday Clock
