Does anyone know any good comics with Darkseid from that era?

LEGENDS. It helped establish some Post-Crisis characters such as Godfrey from Young Justice, and the moden incarnation of the Suicide Squad! Although some plotlines get dropped and never fulfilled, I liked it quite a bit. And to answer your question, Darkseid factors into it heavily.

AAAAHHHHH!!! Gordon Godfrey got under my skin so much in YJ. I wanted to punch him in the face.
