This was a very good beginning to the story. It introduced the characters well and the part where the Captain Carpenter says “It’s not salvage when you ransack a ship from foreign waters. It’s piracy.” has GOT to be foreshadowing of some sort!

These Hill House books always seem to take some sort of hard turn at one point or another, but this one came quick with the glowing leech-looking things on the last page. Orange jumpsuits mean inmates…right?

Well…
…they say the test of a good comic is that the last page should leave you wanting to turn another and I sure do wish I had a couple more pages after this one!
