Sharing your favorite or current DCUI reads has never been easier!
On July 17, DCUI is debuting a new feature: Public Lists! All subscribers will be able to share curated lists of their favorite DC comic books via text, social media, or on DC Community. While DCUI subscribers can currently build lists of books for future reference and reading, this new feature will give you the option to make your lists publicly accessible and searchable–on any platform! This will allow you to easily share lists with friends, family, and fellow DC fans.
You’ll also be able to discover and explore Public Lists by searching for them using favorite titles, characters, creators, and more! Think of it like a public playlist…want to build a Summer-themed list of DC books? Need a list of recommendations to read after a breakup? With Public Lists, you’ll be able to! With DCUI Public Lists, you’ll be able to not only share your personal picks, but also discover new reads and creators that maybe you never knew about!
Here’s how to create a Public List:
Sign up or log-in to DC UNIVERSE INFINITE
Verify your email address associated with your account on the DCUI Settings Page
Once verified, navigate to MyDC > Lists > + New List
Set the list Title, Description, and toggle ‘Public’ ON to make the list public
Click ‘Share’ to generate a shareable URL
Copy and share this URL to your platform of choice
Please note: You’ll have to update the DCUI App on Mobile in order to access this feature on your phone or tablet!
What lists do you want to make for other readers to discover? Let us know in the thread below!
That is so cool. I always wanted to share my lists with people. I have favorites of all time of course, but I think I want to share a list dedicated to Black Lightning and Katana. I love those characters after reading Batman and the Outsiders and collected my favorite stories that feature them.
This sounds pretty cool ! I have tons of lists already made up. The list feature is one of the things I like the most about DCUI. You can’t make your own lists on Marvel Unlimited.
They make the lists themselves. Which is fine but I like making my own lists because there are stories I get an itch for reading and, by making up my own lists, it allows me easy access to what I’m looking for rather than just doing a search and taking forever to find what I’m looking for. At first, I started making lists just to put different series in. Like I have a Batman list that has over 400 different stories and series in it alone.
It’s not just completely Batman, though. It’s the rest of his family too. Then I started making lists for individual characters. Like I have lists for Talia’s stories and Conduit’s stories.
Now I’m starting to make lists for complete collections, like The Fall of Metropolis and the Death of Clark Kent. But trying to make lists for complete stories is a little bit tough. I tried to make a list for the Death of Iris West but a good chunk of that story is not available on DCUI for some reason and I don’t understand why because it’s been collected in a hardcover omnibus so the issues have already been updated and remastered. I own the book myself.
I just wanted to add that story to my DCUI collection because it’s one of my favorite Flash stories. I really look forward to sharing some of my favorite DC stories with everyone !
SO looking forward to this. I’ve been itching for people’s recs for a long time, especially as I dive into characters I haven’t read about yet! Super cool!!!
I feel like I should make and share a list as soon as this becomes live. But I kinda already have the lists I need - Comics I Like, Titles I’m Reading, and Need to Read. I’m sure I’ll create a special list to share though
You’re already a lot more organized than me with my lists; I see something and either go “oh that’s new, I have to read that” or “I have already read this” and toss it all into the same void
1 more day to go!
I’m planning on making two different comic list, 1 for favorite DC Comic issues (stories) and 1 for favorite DC Comic book series, this will be alot of fun to share!
