Otisburg, USA: A Nice Place To Live?

We all know of Otis from Superman: The Movie and Superman II, right? Played by Ned Beatty? Remember in Superman: The Movie how he wanted his lil’ slice of land called Otisburg? Okay, good.

So…let’s fast forward several years. Otis told Mr. Luthor to cram it and he’s living the sweet life in his own town of, yeah you guessed it…Otisburg!

What is Otisburg like? As town founder and first mayor does Otis run the burg well or is it a dump? Is there a cool comic and toy store in town? What’s the cultural scene like?

How do YOU envision Otisburg?

There’s a city ordinance that it’s pronounced LuTHOR, not LuTHER, and I voted for it!*

*I have no idea how city ordinances are made

As a law student, I can confirm that city ordinances probably spring forth fully formed from the sky or something. Maybe.

Building codes could be considered ordinances (and apply to a city, state, or national level)
Such codes trace back to Babylon, in 1758 B.C

There’s a Schott’s Toy Store in city hall, so when you’re there you don’t have to be stuck thinking about all those municipal laws and such.
