This month is Pride Month and for this session we will be taking a look at the son of Green Lantern Alan Scott who goes by the name Obsidian and has the power to control shadows. He has lead a pretty colorful life over the decades so let’s see what he’s all about.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Obsidian and thought that he (and his sister Jade) were interesting legacy characters.
This first week we will be taking a look at Obsidian’s first appearance before we spend the rest of June with the team he ultimately becomes a founding member of: Infinity, Inc.

It has been a while since I read these, but I remember him being very underpowered in his early appearances compared to what he will be later.

Oh, he was most definitely was underpowered early on.
