Description from dc.fandom.com: Klar Ken T5477 is a direct descendant of the first Superman, living in the 30th Century. Kara Ken is a descendant of the first Superman and little sister of Klar Ken, the twentieth Superman who operates in the 30th Century.
Now that that’s over with, here are some discussion questions:
- Over the last 85 years, Superman has been known to be the exact embodiment of optimism. However, throughout the years, we’ve also seen an influx in tension, action, and emotion between members of the Super-Family and members of the Luthor family. In issue 136, we see Klar form a preconception of Lena, solely because of her last name. Do you think this hurts the Superman legacy, or enhances the Super-Family vs Luthor rivalry? Explain.
- Throughout the issues, we see Klar and Kara be constantly compared to their familial predecessors, whether it be by bystanders, news outlets, or themselves. How do you think this influences their capabilities, intentions, and lifestyles as heroes? Explain.
