Negative Man's Cook Book, Week 11: Superman's Heat Vision Grilled Cheese

This super sandwich exudes the simple life of a farm in Smallville & is such a snap to snag on the rush to scoop that story for the Daily Planet.
Compliments go to “The Official DC Super Hero Cookbook” (2015).

No Heat Vision? No Problem, Just use the stovetop.

I’m curious but terrified to know if anyone eats their grilled cheese sandwiches with mustard and ketchup. This is haunting me

I probably would.

I do my burgers with ketchup and mustard. Never could get into mayo.

Grilled cheese with ketchup and mustard wouldn’t be too much of a stretch as long as it’s not gobs. Moderation is key. Just enough to give it flavor.
Maybe tear off pieces and dip them.

And before you ask, I also dip my fries in ketchup and mustard.

Are we going to see Green Arrow’s chili?
Or have you already posted it?

While it works better using more rectangular slices of bread (think rye or sourdough) while cutting the sandwich on the diagonal include a few 45 degree angle to cut in the shape of a batarang. Becomes more a Worlds Finest grilled cheese. Or for those with more a roguish bent. Cut on the diagonal and take a big bite from the center of each half, in Captain Boomarang equipment.

And I suggest grated English cheddar and add a tiny amount of bacon fat to the hot pan before browning.

Mustard/ Ketchup could be used to create the “S” symbol for Superman .
I think we did a ‘chili’ gotta check, but I don’t think we have done the Green Lantern Chili yet…
We have had some cooler rainy days - so some Green Lantern Chili is sounding rather scrumdilliicious bout now.
