need help with DC app on Roku tv

Don’t know where to ask this. but it’s getting annoying for me lol.
I’m hearing impaired and have a Roku tv. I use to have close caption but one day it went away and I can’t get it back. it’s a dumb question I know. but it’s getting frustrating I can’t get it and I missing out.

I have a Roku box with its own dedicated remote, and for me, I press the * button while a video is playing and it brings up a menu with the captions option on it. I hope this helps!
