Years ago I ran into Martin Nodell at a Motor City Comic Con. Marty had his wife with him, and she brought him a boxed lunch, she insisted on making me a sandwich. Her chocolate chip cookies were to die for.
Martin told me the story of him riding a train and seeing a rail road worker with a Lantern … and Green Lantern was born just like that. Very nice people, sad that they’ve been gone for years now
