This Weekâs Theme:
What Songâs Hyping You Up for Harley Quinn?
With there being so much to look forward to for the Friday premiere of DCâs animated series, Harley Quinn, what songs are you listening to to get ready for the big day? Are there any songs that represent your hopes for the show, or better yet, make you think of the self-appointed Cupid of Crime, herself?
Let us know whatâs on your âMust Listen!â list with a comment below! While lyrics must abide to Forum Guidelines, the songs can be anything, of any genre, as long as it meets each weekâs theme!
Curious what Mixtape Monday is?
Every week, weâll post the title of our latest Mixtape, and you post a track of your choice in the comments below! Weâll follow up next Mixtape Monday with the full list of tunes collected from the week before. And if our âWhatâs the Last Song You Heard?â thread is any indication, you all have superb taste in tunes!
Hmm, I think for me, the Harley Quinntrailer gives off P!nk, âFunhouseâ vibes
But⊠if you need some elaboration on whatâs meant by songs that could represent your hopes for the show/characters, since Harley says âAnyone whoâs a respected supervillain is in the Legion of Doom. Thatâs when you know youâve made it. If Joker can get in so can I!â in the trailer, Matchbook Romanceâs, âMonstersâ is an example of what comes to mind for me when I think of their being so good at being bad that they reach Legion of Doom status.
âWe are the monsters⊠underneath your bed. Yeah, believe what you read.â
The Marcels: Crazy bells
Iâm actually laughing out loud!
Looking at the lyrics itâs a love song, listening to the background singers itâs about a crazy person. Take it however you want to, but the love song still works with the Harley Quinn + Joker/Ivy and The crazy relationships.
