**This Week's Theme: Green Arrow** =
Last week saw the release of the exciting new graphic novel, Green Arrow: Stranded. There's no better time to create a playlist for Green Arrow himself, Oliver Queen! What songs do you think would be in Green Arrow's musical quiver? Take your best shots and let us know, below!

I’ll start things off with this song I’ve loved since I was a kid:

Due to the high volume of submissions and the limited number of hours in a day, we’ll be selecting two songs from each member, but feel free to share as many as you like!

:headphones: Curious what Mixtape Monday is? :headphones:
Every week, we’ll post the title of our latest Mixtape, and you post tracks of your choice in the comments below! We’ll follow up next Mixtape Monday with the list of tunes, two from each user, collected from the week before. And if our “What’s the Last Song You Heard?” thread is any indication, you all have superb taste in tunes!

For our hardcore music lovers, we suggest joining Inky’s Mixtape Mob , a group created to bring all music lovers together in one place. Joining Inky’s Mixtape Mob will make sure you get notified of every playlist update, as well as offer you a custom flair and title to show off your maestro-dom!

While lyrics must abide to Forum Guidelines , the songs can be anything, of any genre, as long as it meets each week’s theme!

“Archers”, by Wovenwar

“We Are The Archers”, by Oh Sleeper

My very obvious choice just because it is about shooting arrows.

Poison Arrow - ABC

A weird choice, but probably how Ollie felt after he found out Roy was a junkie.

The Pusher - Steppenwolf

most of the songs i think of are songs Ollie would sing to Dinah to flirt with/annoy her

but i can totally see these 2 being used in a Green Arrow movie, too (and everyone besides me would groan). i can especially see Ollie being into '80s metal.

third wheel:

edit boy i’ve never actually watched the video for Stayin’ Alive. it wasn’t very ambitious was it

Green Arrow is bad, he’s good bad but he’s not evil. So, I think some James Brown is needed to sum up all he is:

Greatest anti-fascist song ever in my opinion. :100:

I did not realize there were so many archer/arrow themed songs. And I’m always happy to see a playlist that includes Woody Guthrie and The Police. :guitar:

Draft Dodger Rag by Phil Ochs
Clampdown by The Clash
Kill The Poor by The Dead Kennedys
(Oliver Queen is that one guy at hardcore shows circling the pit ready to help up anyone who falls in the pit, he is the backbone of the local scene)
