Due to the high volume of submissions and the limited number of hours in a day, we’ll be selecting two songs from each member, but feel free to share as many as you like!

:headphones: Curious what Mixtape Monday is? :headphones:
Every week, we’ll post the title of our latest Mixtape, and you post tracks of your choice in the comments below! We’ll follow up next Mixtape Monday with the list of tunes, two from each user, collected from the week before. And if our “What’s the Last Song You Heard?” thread is any indication, you all have superb taste in tunes!

For our hardcore music lovers, we suggest joining Inky’s Mixtape Mob , a group created to bring all music lovers together in one place. Joining Inky’s Mixtape Mob will make sure you get notified of every playlist update, as well as offer you a custom flair and title to show off your maestro-dom!

While lyrics must abide to Forum Guidelines , the songs can be anything, of any genre, as long as it meets each week’s theme!

With Krypto and Ace on the loose, there’s only one place where we can begin:

Who Let the Dogs Out? - Baha Men

Hello @Green.Lantern, DC Animated Club is also celebrating the release of League Of Super-pets, here’s my two pick that makes me think of Krypto & Ace’s friendship…

Those are good picks! That was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid.

Oh, yeah … Tis the Season! I’m sure this list will be dog heavy, so lets make sure Terrific Whatzit and Ch’p get their due love:

And then, yeah, dogs…

And don’t forget the Joker…

So…dogs, right?

I think I can do that:

I agree that this list is going to get a bit dog-heavy, so my other entrant focuses on something completely different.

SQRL - Professor Elemental and Tom Caruana

Oh, I love Professor Elemental! Great choice! (Of course, the title - and the way he chants "squirrel, squirrel - now has the Phineas and Ferb song Squirrels in my Pants stuck in my head.)

Yeah, dog heavy…

EDIT: Just remembered a better song choice!

“Best Of Friends” by Pearl Bailey

“Cat”, by C418

B-side, that I originally chose…
“Animals”, by Dead Poetic

OMG HCIF?!

Gotta pay tribute to the Big Bad!
I’m pretty sure this version meets forum decency requirements, despite many verses being quarantined in the Library of Congress Folk Music Index’s “Inferno Collection”…

(Though Boney M is the pinnacle version, despite the band having broken up before its release and Liz Mitchell refusing to sing the vocals, it is worth noting the Roy Acuff and Lloyd Charmers versions are not far behind.)

And my other choice,

As the saying goes, dog is man’s best friend. Not playing favorites, just sayin…

Oh wow, this is a great song and great pick! I wish I’d thought of it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was trying to think of a squirrel-related song, and I’m a little disappointed in myself that it took me so long to remember this gem:
