This Week’s Theme: Creature Commandos

This week, we’re highlighting one of the most monstrous teams of heroes ever assembled-the Creature Commandos! What songs do you think belong on the perfect playlist for this squad of monster soldiers? Share your selections with us, below! (And if you’re not that familiar with the team, be sure to check out Creature Commandos #1 when it arrives on DCUI tomorrow!)

I’ll get things kicked off with two World War II era hits:

Due to the high volume of submissions and the limited number of hours in a day, we’ll be selecting two songs from each member, but feel free to share as many as you like!

:headphones: Curious what Mixtape Monday is? :headphones:
Every week, we’ll post the title of our latest Mixtape, and you post tracks of your choice in the comments below! We’ll follow up next Mixtape Monday with the list of tunes, two from each user, collected from the week before. And if our “What’s the Last Song You Heard?” thread is any indication, you all have superb taste in tunes!

For our hardcore music lovers, we suggest joining Inky’s Mixtape Mob , a group created to bring all music lovers together in one place. Joining Inky’s Mixtape Mob will make sure you get notified of every playlist update, as well as offer you a custom flair and title to show off your maestro-dom!

While lyrics must abide to Forum Guidelines , the songs can be anything, of any genre, as long as it meets each week’s theme!

I love World War 2 era music… and thought of this version:
“Thriller”, by Postmodern Jukebox (originally by Michael Jackson)

(looks like @Jurisdiction beat me with the original)

And then “commandos” reminded me of this childhood game:
“Vode An”, by Jesse Harlin (from Star Wars Republic Commando)

Two songs come to mind…
“Bark at the Moon” by Ozzy Osbourne

“Creature from the Black Lagoon” by Dave Edmunds

G. I. Jive - Louis Jordan

You can’t beat Louis Jordan for some Boogie Woogie music.

Well, everyone already took all the good monster songs, so here’s some cheesy '80s pop/rock:

Sorry everyone, I don’t know how to do YouTube links on here yet. But I want to submit two choices. Hope you like them :slightly_smiling_face:. I think they would fit the Creature Commandos from the '80s.

My two selections are The Dead Next Door by Billy Idol and Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) by David Bowie :slightly_smiling_face:.
