People need to remember that some of those names featured are maiden names and nicknames and of course the rare “2 first names” such as Barbara Ann.
Yes, a very good point!
I haven’t found a way to denote maiden names yet but nicknames are supposed to be marked with quotation marks. Eg. Timothy “Tim” Jackson Drake. Tim is his nickname. I can’t promise that I always remember them, always feel free to point out any mistakes I may have made.
As for the double first name, I did consider that but decided to leave it in for two reasons.
- It is sometimes difficult to determine whether it is a double first or middle name so in the interest of fairness to the people who suggest it, I would leave it.
- I have a relative with a double first name and their advice was to count it. In their case, they go by both their first and middle name. Technically, it’s still their middle name so it counts.
Side Note: Papa NML went by his middle name. It’s not uncommon in my family. I don’t recall any DC characters that do this but it is something I’ve looked out for.
That was addressed instantly actually lol. The very 1st post I made, I said some are maiden etc…just fyi. We’re on it here in the DCUI community !!!
I again had a sudden fit of paranoia where I imagined the horror of accidentally deleting the list while editing. I’m quoting it here as a back up. I saved it to my computer a while back too I think. This is a whole lot of names! Thanks to @capo-mage , and the many others who have contributed!
Do we think Ibn al Xu’ffasch counts?
I say yes !! Ty @TheBatgirlofNML & crew!!! That list is incredible!!-& I’m for sure not done yet …I’m calling it a day tho. Got Browns on Monday Night. Time for tunes!!!
Baed on the hyphen “Teth-Adam” is his last name.
That’s what I said…? lol. Theo Teth-Adam. That’s the correct way to do it, left to right ? Something must be lost in translation…?
