Of all the combatants, Barda best combines both Martial and Maternal spirit and wins Athena’s favor. Artemis who as an Amazon would have been her favorite, is a Bana-Mighdall Amazon and will receive no aid from Athena as a result of their heresy and renouncing of the Greek deities.

With apologies to both Donna Troy and Wonder Girl who are loved on Olympus. The combined favors of Mary Marvels patron goddesses of Selena – Hippolyta – Ariadne – Zephyrus – Aurora – Minerva are too much for Demeter to ignore. Demeter also recognizes the despite Mary’s seeming youth – that her story and legend are in fact far older than the others. That the legend of this first girl superhero has made it through the mazes of time and survived is impressive to Demeter and she asks that the verdict be reversed.

Lois Lane, the Superwoman of Earth-three is the polar opposite of both our Lois and Wonder Woman and so is a pure evil. Her skill, her violence and viciousness are all delicious to Eris – but it’s the seeds of chaos in Superwoman’s constant schemes, deceit, intrigue and manipulation of her lovers Ultraman and Owlman (and her snitch Jimmy Olsen) that makes her the favorite of Eris.
