Thank you so much for being here mr Wolfman! you are a great inspiration for me and one of my favorite writers of all time. My question is : what did you think the future of the titans was at different times, so not just when you started, but at different points? how did it change over time?
Hello Mr. Wolfman.
Absolute honor for u to join us. Thank u so much for all of the characters you’ve created. Raven & Starfire are 2 of my favorite characters ever. Did u have more to do with one,or both, then Pere’z? If so, or not. Which one is your favorite of the two?
Also. You are in my top 5 in every category/thread on/off of this site. You, Pere’z & Kirby are automatic in every top 5 favorite category that applies. Thank u for all you’ve given to DC.
Hello, Mr. Wolfman. Thanks for taking the time to answer everyone’s questions.
Back in 1980, you created a number of iconic characters for the New Teen Titans team, among them being the character of Raven. Fast-forward to 2008, you wrote a solo mini-series for the character, and returned again for a 6-issue solo in 2016, followed by a 12-issue solo in 2018.
What is it like to return to a character decades later, and do you go through any particular process when writing a character who has been influenced by many different authors in the interim decades, as well as various interpretations across different mediums?
Hello Marv Wolfman.
My question is which of the characters that you have created has surprised you the most?
Thanks for answering our questions.
Hello Marv Wolfman appreciate you taking the time to join us all here on DC Universe during these tough times. It really does honor us all and helps us out in staying entertain.
Have a lot of question to ask but just ask how did feel to be on set making Stan Lee cameo appearance in the CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover Event?
Q1: would you (If possible) not have made the crisis on infinite earths?
I’m a big fan of the Vigilante series you wrote in the 80s. I discovered it here on DC Universe and have read the first twenty or so issues so far.
What was your favorite part about writing a character like Vigilante? He’s so different from the standard portrayal of a “hero,” yet there’s still that underlying heroism in his motivations that make him such an interesting character.
Hello Mr Wolfman,
This is truly a privilege. I am a big fan and highly appreciate what you have brought to comics.
What was your best and least favorite thing about writing Who’s Who? Especially since it was done in the middle of COIE. (Flash’s entry doesn’t mention Barry’s death but Supergirl’s does.)
And you were fabulous in your CW COIE cameo with Flash and Supergirl. You stole the show!!
Many thanks. Stay safe, Stay healthy.
What is it like to have had a hand in the creation of a Universe that has influenced the growth, maturity, and life decisions and goals of so many generations of readers? Do you feel a special connection to your fans knowing your stories are passed down from parent to child at this point?
Thanks for coming out for this!
Hello Mr Wolfman,
I was a big fan of Weird Mystery Tales, could you tell me about working on that comic book and creating the character Destiny. Thanks
You’re the best Marv, thanks!
Mr. Wolfman, greetings and salutations! Since “The Judas Contract” has been adapted or riffed on several times now, is there some other, particular New Teen Titans story that you’d like to see adapted as an animated movie? I think that The New Teen Titans: Games would be close to ideal given its length and stand-alone nature.
Hello Mr Wolfman! Thank you for taking the time to do a Q&A with us.
A significant number of modern fans of your characters first came to them through other media like the Teen Titans animated show which made changes to the characters and stories. I’m wondering- how do you respond to adaptations of your work and the way they can change the popular perception of characters you’ve created?
Hi Mr. Wolfman,
Thank you for taking the time to answer fans questions. My question for you is when you were writing Crisis on Infinite Earths did you think at the time it would have the impact and influence on comics and tv today that it has continued to have?
Hello Mr. Wolfman,
I was wondering how you came up with the idea for Raven?
Hi, Mr. Wolfman! New Teen Titans was one of the first comics that I ever read, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I actually have a few questions about it.
-Was it harder to make new characters (such as Starfire, Raven, and Jericho) or to build upon the already existing team members (like Wonder Girl and Dick) history and characterization?
Hi Mr Wolfman,
I grew up reading comics as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s, I was especially fond of Horror and mystery comics. I loved Tomb of Dracula, anything you can share about your time working on that comic and creating Blade. And is it true that you got hired because they liked your name Wolfman?
Hi, Marv.
This is a question I’ve always wanted to ask you…
I love your solo Deathstroke run, it still really holds up when you read it today. Would you ever consider writing his solo book again? I would love to read your take on him now.
Thanks.
Stuart.
