IDK what the overall consensus on that book is, but I thought it was a swell read and am glad to see Galaxy appearing in the mainline DCU via Hawkgirl.

Read issue 2 and so far it is keeping strong. And while I appreciate the art showing off Kendra as a muscle bound warrior, I have to ask…has she gotten taller since the 2000s? Or even the 2010s? Cuz I don’t remember her being this tall

She has appeared very little since 2010. In the 2010s her official height was listed as 5’6". She was consistently drawn as taller than Stargirl but shorter than most of the women and normally with a much leaner build. Leonard Kirk for one storyline (JSA B.C.) drew her with much more muscle mass, but then he went back to her older build.

I finally read #s 1 and 2 and I greatly enjoyed both.
Hawkgirl was one of my most-anticipated Dawn titles and so far, its living up to my expectations and then some.
I hope the title is doing well, as I’d love to get more of Kendra and Galaxy beyond the initial 6 issues.

I just love Galaxy here. I’m hoping her presence isn’t just contained in this story. Any future appearances in team books would be great. It would be so cool if Galaxy becomes a sidekick or rather partner in Hawkgirl lore now.
