Let’s Talk About Anything DC

Outsiders #1

If you had Luke Fox globetrotting with Batwoman, I figured if they were going to reference his recent development about his struggles being a hero and his problems with his family, they were also probably name-drop Jace Fox in this series. Even half away around the world, Luke still had to deal with this nonsense.

It is interesting that Luke has not told Lucius that he is Batwing, while Lucius knows that his other son, Jace, is the Batman of New York. That kind of dynamic where both father and sons are keeping secrets from each other is really interesting for future conflict down the road. Lucius attitude about Jace headstrong nature is also fascinating to me. It’s a statement that implies Lucius still has reservations about his other son abilities as Batman and that kind of perspective around Jace may be blunt, it’s still better than anything I seen in his own series. Would Lucius think the same of Luke if he knew he was a superhero? and how would Batwing react knowing his brother and sister were superheroes in New York?

I’m looking forward to seeing more of Batwing personal arc here where we would hopefully get more development between Luke and his family in the future.

Now that Lex Luthor has been cast, wouldn’t it be cool if the DCU had its own election year and Lex Luthor runs. It would be cool merch if DC sold a bunch of Luthor campaign posters and buttons. Maybe even have someone else like Harvey Dent run as well before he turns into Two-Face. That would be wild for fans.

DC should let us elect our fictional president. My votes on Barbara Gordon.

I had not wanted to punch a villain straight in the face right now than Vulpecula in Hawkgirl. Does that make her a good villain if I hate her so much?

Let me put it like this - I have a soft spot/special liking for redheads. But this chick? No way!

Anytime I see someone call Dick Grayson “D!ck” or just “Grayson” I die a little. Why can’t you just say his name. I get it’s weird but it’s weirder to call him “D!ck.”

First of all, I don’t think you need to censore yourself if your just saying Dick in this context.

Second, I mean…Dick is his first name. And it’s the name his friends will call him out if costume. Just like calling Bruce Wayne just Bruce or Clark Kent as just Clark

This is objectively hilarious :joy:

I agree but so many people do censor it which makes it weirder than if you just said his name. They’re literally drawing more attention to the fact that his name is Dick.

I just call him “Spud Bro.”

You could be like Wally and call him “Boy Wonderful.”

Since that Superboy “SKYROCKET” storyline was scrapped. I’ve been thinking what do they have planned for our Superboy next? I can’t say for sure, but lately, thanks to some convincing from the community, that if there any future storyline I want to see in the future with Superboy I totally would love to see a certain Batgirl featured prominently in it. Seeing Cass and Connor together would be interesting, but super cute as well, so go team. Lol

I’m genuinely interested to know what others thought about Tales of the Titans #4

I personally think it’s the best one in the anthology. I was super interested throughout this issue and felt incredibly sad for Garth grappling from his trauma that occurred in Dark Crisis. It’s one of my favorite stories about Beast Boy and Raven relationship as well.

Tomorrow’s is the Steel’s series finale. A fairly solid series that I’m enjoying for getting me familiar with Steel again. I really do like this variant cover by V. Ken Marion for the final issue that showcases the 3rd generation heroes.

It’s a really cool cover seeing most of these former prominent legacy characters together.
