Legends of The Dark Knight #22 - Bart Sears

Working my way through this part 2 of the Faith story line and I am fully impressed by the pencil contributions of Bart Sears. They reside in a “classical” though fully dimensional category that is Aparo-like. And that name…he could be the director of acclaimed dramedies revolving around New York sophisticates circa '93. “Step aside, Whit Stillman!”

Yeah, I found the art in “Faith” rather striking. I’d say it’s a highly underrated arc, but by this point, everyone probably just assumes that I’ll say that about any Mike Barr Batman story.

You gotta go where the love is. It was an era with a few peaks.

Not huge on the Faith story (Don’t like a violent Batman) but I do like the art, It is the most angular and out here art of the whole series.

And it does make me want to seek out more of his work. Mission accomplished.
