LAST CHANCE WATCH-ALONG, 12/28 9:00 PM EST: Watchmen: Under the Hood

It’s still funny seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan try to look like a 20 year old.

My favorite part of Watchmen ‘09 is the opening montage, so this a treat.

I loved that movie, I think Lindeloff said it best that it was the best adaptation that was possible of the material in a 2 1/2-3 hour movie.

Alas, poor Dollar Bill.

Great way to distill the moral of this story: Asking if masked heroes are good or bad is like asking if television is good or bad: the answer is both.

William Long, before he gets mind-whammied by Rorschach!

Dr. Long!

Man, William Long was really well cast.

Be careful what you wish for, Malcolm!

I love the tension between Hollis and Sally

I don’t recall that being in the comic, though I could be more remembering Before Watchmen where Hollis had a torch for Silhouette.

It’s more of an awkwardness. They clearly don’t want to be reported as a thing when they’re not.

I think Mothman is leaning like that because he probably can’t sit in a chair with those wings on.
