JUSTICE LEAGUE WEST: TOWER OF BABEL
Batman is the ultimate strategist, using his intelligence and resources to secure his place among his super-powered allies in the Justice League. But what happens when that intelligence is used against him? Ra’s al Ghul takes out the JLA, one member at a time‚ using plans devised by Batman himself, with his own methods to subdue his teammates if they ever got out of control.
Meanwhile, using a specially-designed tower to generate a low-level sonic signal which causes written language to be scrambled into total nonsense, Ra’s has destroyed all communication on Earth, and the world enters an even greater state of panic as speech begins to fade into unintelligible gibberish.
With the intention of dramatically reducing the Earth’s population, Ra’s al Ghul reveals that a deadly nerve agent is about to be released, sparking a war between two nations already in conflict. Can the Justice League recover in time to stop Ra’s?
