Is it worth starting this series? With the reboot coming up and all current stuff ending. Is it any good?

I’ve liked this run a lot, except for the Aquaman Drowned Earth stuff. If you’re wanting to know more about Perpetua and the source wall and stuff like that, it explains a lot. Justice/Doom War was interesting enough. And I’m digging’ Venditti’s new stuff also.

This is arguably the most important series of DC from 2018-2019. It is a whole lot of fun with BIG Ideas and even bigger action. If you plan to read Death Metal, this series is a MUST.

The current storyline that began in #40, “Invasion of the Supermen” is a lot of fun.
It won’t begin to appear on DCU until next February, but it’s worth seeking out now to enjoy as it’s happening. #42 is the latest issue, which came out last Wednesday.
