:renegade_robins: [Jason Todd] 1-900-MADE-IT (July)

Jason Todd lives

The The BatFam picks up where we left off with the Boy Wonder last time (Apr. 2020) and remembers that time that the Bat-Fans came out in the clutch at the last second! Despite the efforts of one robo-caller to put away our beloved sidekick for good, Jason Todd once again prevailed in the face of death and reminded us why he’s been such a staple of the Bat-Books for the last 40 years!

Here’s our schedule: 2024-07-01T05:00:00Z2024-07-31T05:00:00Z

Reading: A Death in the Family, Parts 1-3

  1. Batman #426
  2. Batman #427
  3. Batman #428

Discussion Questions:

  1. How do you feel about the decision to put Jason in a coma?
  2. Do you think his mother should have been allowed to live as well?
  3. Was this story just cynical, or was it a necessary shakeup?

Let’s relive that famous poll one last time…

ROBIN® WILL DIE BECAUSE THE JOKER™ WANTS REVENGE, BUT YOU CAN PREVENT IT WITH A TELEPHONE CALL.

  • 1-(900)-720-2660 The Joker fails and Robin lives.
  • 1-(900)-720-2666 The Joker succeeds and Robin will not survive.

Thanks again for joining us, @RenegadeRobinsClub! Next time, we’ll see Jason’s reluctant return to the mask and short-shorts in Marv Wolfman’s “A Lonely Place of Dying.” (If one thing can bring him out of retirement after the tragic death of his mother, it’s gotta be the two-toned gangster who’s to blame for the tragic death of his father: former D.A. Dent! Or does Harvey count as two things…?)

Jason has always been better as Red Hood imo. His death was a necessity
