One way is that in the TV shows they murder both characters and replace them with angsty, annoying teenagers. I get it’s because they are adapting to the culture but dear god. Raven, crazy jane, thea queen, felicity Smoak, black canary, iris west. They aren’t all teenagers but all these pinnacle characters from the comics are all just angry all the time about every little thing the main characters do. Which creates conflict which creates superhero drama. I wish the writers would focus less on the drama between the protagonists and more on bringing them together as the teams they should be to face the conflict with the main villains. I don’t want a soap. I want a comic book tv show.
