I’ve been out of the loop with DC for quite a few years. Honestly, since the New 52 reboot. I’ve seen enough to know his origin was changed, (as was my 2nd favorite, Conner Kent) and now I’m hesitant to try and get back into the comics again. I grew up with him… just how much was changed? Is he even “Tim Drake” anymore? Is Conner still the Kon-El I knew? And dear God, is the bromance still alive?! LOL Guess I’m just looking for a bit of reassurance (with minimal spoilers) before investing time/money into it, or if I should drag out the boxes of old comics and seek shelter reading old stuff…

Tim became Tim again for the most part in Detective Comics Rebirth. Conner hasn’t been around but he will be showing up again along with Tim in the new Young Justice book.
Speaking of whether or not Tim Drake is around, what is the Teen Titans backstory that leads into the start of the 2016 Raven comics, where it starts off with Raven saying “My best friend, Tim Drake, is …” ?
