Is countdown to final crisis worth reading?

I’ll be reading final crisis soon and was wondering if Countdown to final crisis Was even worth reading. I ask because I remember seeing somewhere that the stories end up being pointless because apparently the creators didn’t communicate and they don’t even connect to what happens in final crisis.

No, save yourself the time and energy and skip it. It adds nothing of value to Final Crisis.
