None of it is “true” black metal. I stopped posting before I started in on that stuff 
Alcest got compared to My Bloody Valentine before they’d ever heard them. They were just trying a new take on the black metal sound. It’s funny how two genres that don’t sound very much alike end up having a lot in common.
