He’s among my favorite writers ever on Batman, Justice League of America, Green Lantern, Captain America and The Avengers.
For my money, THE BEST comic book writer of the 1970s.

I am from the bronze age so I have fond memories of the steve englehart justice league, batman and mr miracle. It is one reason why I have been liking dc comics starting from the time when I was kid.

A very happy birthday. Strange Apparitions is an absolute classic and influenced so much of modern Batman. It would be nice to see his and Marshall Rodgers’ follow-up, Dark Detective, on here someday.
