Today is the 45th anniversary of the first appearance of Lady Shiva, one of the most complex, compelling, and deadliest warriors in the entire expanse of the DC Universe. Created as a supporting character in Denny O’Neil’s kung fu epic RICHARD DRAGON, KUNG-FU FIGHTER, Lady Shiva has gone on to challenge some of the greatest minds and greatest fighters that the DCU has to offer, from Batman, to The Question, to Black Canary, and of course, Cassandra Cain.
