This was one of the oddest team-ups in The Brave and the Bold, Batman and the House of Mystery! Cain didn’t really interact with Batman, but he did narrate the story.

I like how that cover is a recreation of House of Mystery 174, which Cain wasn’t in as his first HOM was 175.

As I recall, no. 174 was the first issue to return to horror after years of superheroes. I also seem to recall it was all reprints!
