Okay, in all honesty, I don’t really like Hal Jordan. Every version of him I’ve usually seen is either boring or an asshole, and not in a charming Guy Gardner way or an “It’s the 1970s and we don’t know how to write a black guy yet” John Stewart way. I know there must be a reason why people are so passionate about him and I agree it’s a good thing he was redeemed and brought back. He was given a bad hand and was able to get his due. I just don’t see what makes him so ‘iconic’.
