So, you send Batman to deal with a meteor, Wonder Woman to solve a mystery, and Superman to end a war, right?
The name of the game is to send a (usually competent) hero or heroine into a situation where they are completely ill-equipped to help. Maybe a villain hacked dispatch that day? The Justice League got its roster wrong? Who knows!
For our first scenario, we have a school on fire. Someone has to come help! Who shouldn’t lend their aid?

I don’t think that Martian Manhunter should show up for 2 major reasons.
The whole fire thing is probably an issue.
I don’t see Manhunter as particularly good with young kids.

Can I just answer G’Nort for every scenario you come up with?

J’onn is a good answer. I’d also say that Fire probably shouldn’t be dispatched either. Fighting fire w/ fire isn’t gonna help any of those kids

I definitely think J’ohn is a good pick.
But I feel Etrigan will be great too. Even has rhymes to help with the kids.

Midnighter can’t punch a fire. I’m scared of this dude so I know kids would be also.

Plastic Man. If the name follows, plastic has no place around a fire.

Black Condor. He is useless in every situation.

The fish. No Aquaman to get to safety.

The Atom. No matter how small he shrinks slipping between the atoms of a fire doesn’t save anyone else.

Kid: Somebody saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave me!
Black Condor: Ca ca ca ca ca! (franticly flaps his arms, which just spreads the flames).
