Is it too early to have a flashpoint plot in the dc extended universe?

That may actually be a way for Warner Bros to do a soft reboot, and get a different, younger Batman and different Superman actor, but keep Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
They could get a fresh start in their movies like the X-Men did after Days of Future Past.
