Impulse 10. Young Bart Allen’s world was turned upside down with the loss of his speed powers. His mentor and father figure Max Mercury was clinging to life after their latest battle. The issue is plotted beautifully to capture how it feels for him to be moving slowly and when he finally has time to realize he may lose Max it just shakes me up. It may tie in to the grander Flash crossover at the time but it stands by itself. So much so I still remember it this many years later.
