September 15 to October 15 is Latino Heritage Month, also known as Hispanic Heritage Month. I then thought I would ask everyone who their favorite DC Latino hero is? For me it would be Jessica Cruz. I mean, one can’t get much cooler than a Green Lantern.
This is who I came here to say. I really need to read his comic series because I really enjoyed him in The Flash.
First Hispanic dc character to receive his own ongoing comic book series.
I wouldn’t say he’s my favorite, but I will say the first one I remember was
El Dorado in the Super Friends cartoon; so I think he deserves an honorable mention.
Second on Jessica Cruz
I’m glad to see you included Renee Montoya! She is one of my favorite Batman characters. I’ve met Ingrid Oliu who was the original voice of Rene on Batman: The Animated Series. She is really cool and very nice.
Love her whole journey from gcpd officer to masked vigilante.
She is definitely on the top of my list and I can’t wait for more of her adventures to be released.
I hope Rene Montoya fans didn’t miss out on last week’s Batman: The Adventures Continue Season II #4.
It was a really good single issue story featuring her. (in her police days)
I love Jessica Cruz and Yara Flor is awesome, but I have to go with Renee Montoya. She’s one of my favorite characters, period.
She would be a close 2nd for me.
