Don’t see enough love for Rob Guillory. Chew is a masterpiece.

All great choices but want to add Gene Ha to the list and Pete Woods, I’m always happy when I see them on a book

I forgot Gil Kane, Carmine Infantino, George Perez, and the great, underrated Jack Burnley.

Carmine is fantastic too

I blundered also and forgot, Carmine Infantino, Geroge Perez, Sal Buscema, and Murphy Anderson on my list. Actually, there’s probably two dozen more I could add. This industry has been blessed since its inception with incredible talent.

Brian Bolland, Dave Stevens, Jim Aparo, John Byrne, and Frank Cho. All tied for #2 on my list.

Ooh, I forgot about Dan Jurgens! He’s good too.

I have so many tied for #1 but for this thread I will go with the late, great Michael Turner.

You know who else I’ve really liked and want to see more work from? Fernando Dagnino. His art in Action Comics during the World of New Krypton saga was outstanding. He had a very clean style in the vein of Jurgens and Garcia Lopez. It wasn’t overly cartoony, it wasn’t crosshatched to all hell, it was just impressive work.
