I might mention Deadman’s stuff in Strange Adventures #206-216.
Another fun run is the backup feature the Manhunter Saga in Detective Comics (1937-) #438 to #443 by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson. Issue #443 culminates with Batman and Manhunter teaming up together. Great stuff!
