Economics of DCU direct-to-video Animated films

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of the DC Animated films (eg Reign of the Supermen) and am curious about the economics behind them. Obviously, since there are so many of them, DC must be making money on them. But what does the balance sheet look like? How much does one of these direct to video jams cost to make? How profitable are they?

Does anyone have any sources for this?

Has a sales performance section.

One movie made 12 million.

Cost should be way below live action. Most of the voice actors get their work done in a day or two and most of the animation is done overseas, in Asia.

I think the writers get their work done in a day or two, too.
