Earth 2 / Earth 2: World's End Reading Order - Need Help!

I need some help figuring out how to read Earth 2 #27-32 in conjunction with the Earth 2: World’s End series. This is, by far, one of the most confusing reading order conundrums that I’ve come across in my short time as a comics reader, and it doesn’t help that DC hasn’t provided an official guide on how they should be read. I’ve found three sites with three different reading orders:

Site 1 says that this is the reading order:

Earth 2: World’s End #1-3, Earth 2 #27-28, WE #4-8, E2 #29, WE #9-16, E2 #30, WE #17-23, E2 #31-32, WE #24-26

Site 2 gives this as the reading order:

Earth 2: World’s End #1-3, Earth 2 #27-28, WE #4-8, E2 #29, WE #9, E2 #30, WE #10-18, E2 #31, WE #19-21, E2 #32, WE #22-26

Site 3 has an order that goes by trades, with the Earth 2 issues placed in the middle of the World’s End series:

World’s End #1-11, Earth 2 #27-32, WE #12-26

And of course there’s also option 4, which is to read them in the order they were published:

Earth 2 #27, Earth 2: World’s End #1-4, E2 #28, WE #5-8,
E2 #29, WE #9-13, E2 #30, WE #14-17, E2 #31, WE #18-21, E2 #32, WE #22-26

(It doesn’t help, though, that some Earth 2 and World’s End issues were published on the same day, so going this route there’s no way to know which one should be read first.)

And finally, I suppose there’s also option 5, which is to read Earth 2 #27-32 straight through and then read World’s End straight through (or vice versa).

Which reading order is correct? Thanks for the help!

I was confused too

When I did the Helena Wayne Huntress for the DC History Club

I wrote the following

There was a Long Arc
Where
Earth 2 Superman Returns as a Weapon of Mass Distruction for Darksaid
In Earth 2
Then the
Worlds Finest Return to Earth 2

Tom Taylor creates a great story where Thomas Wayne, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Aquawoman and a Zod who has never seen sunlight become the keys to defeat Superman and the other forces of Darksaid. They are aided by the returning Huntress and Power Girl in the last three issues of the arc.

I’ve now found a fourth different reading order:

Earth 2: World’s End #1, Earth 2 #28, WE #2-3, E2 #27, WE #4-8, E2 #29, WE #9-13, E2 #30, WE #14-17, E2 #31, WE #18-22, E2 #32, WE #23-26

Seriously, how in the heck are these issues actually supposed to be read? This is utterly befuddling…

@TurokSonOfStone1950, thanks for your response, but the issues that I’m confused about are the ones after those that your post is about.

I have the trades from Comixology for both titles

Except for what I posted above

They have the titles as independent

I read all volumes separately, with
Earth 2 first
And had no problems

Yeah, that makes sense. The fact that there are so many different reading orders for this that all claim to be equally accurate kind of points to the fact that there’s no one “right” way to read these issues. I guess I’ll just have to pick one and go with it.
