Gentlemen and Ladies:
Does anyone really think Batman would stand a chance against Superman? It would not even be a decent fight for goodness’ sakes. Wonder Woman is a totally different conversation, but Supes could and would destroy Bruce Wanye without raising a sweat.

Complete misuse of who Clark is making this entire picture irrelevant.
The whole “Batman could defeat The Big Blue Boyscout” is premised on Supes not wanting to crush Bruce. If push came to shove, just saying…it wouldn’t be a match.
So You think character is not important in a fight, because it is. And no, he cannot. Even when he was Soviet dictator he was crushed by Batman. In the rock paper scizzors game of superhero fights Clark always loses to Batman.
No, I don’ t think the character does not matter–and that is Bruce’s only chace–Clark’s humanity. But honestly, Clark could destroy the world if he chose. As Doctor Who explained in When a Good Man Goes to War, “Good men don’t need rules. Today is not the day to find out why I have so many.” Don’t piss off Clark
Doctor Who is a far lesser being than Clark unworthy to talk about him.
Also, Clark has a lot of powers, but what good are powers if their weaknesses outweigh them? Kryptonite, magic, all the other kinds of kryptonite. Batman would kick his ass
Much less powerful-but the same character overall. Unbelievably powerful-but one who holds their selves back from doing what they could. It just irks me the way storylines act as though it would even a fight.
Understandable. They have to nerf me all the time so I do not win in no time. They need multiple panels for the historical pencilers to work with.

I enjoy the “David v. Goliath” storylines–but that has seemingly been taken as canon. Supes is not only the originator-but he is the most powerful superhero.
Clark was taught all that Krypton had to teach him while he was being rocketed to Earth, and Krypton was much more advanced than we are. That is canon.

That may be true, but intelligence and tactical intelligence are completely different things. Academically, Clark might be smarter. But tactically, Clark is an absolute idiot compared to Bruce
Bruce is sneaker, and Diana is a better warrior-but Clark is smarter and more powerful.
