I like the trades because they look good on a shelf, I keep the singles to older issues I held in my hands a thousand years ago when I collected as a kid. I prefer digital for reading, the backlit versions are vibrant and no possibility of damaging old copies.
I’ve always been about my single issues, but I’ve been picking up more trades recently.
I read digital almost exclusively and it really doesn’t matter in that form. But I do collect some paper and collectible is almost always individual. Of course, there are exceptions like Action Comics Oz Effects trade with the lenticular cover.
In the days pre-digital, I almost always preferred trades for reading. Just more convenient to handle and manage.
Yea I definitely prefer trades. I have my weekly that I buy but overall I definitely prefer trades. I feel like it’s just a bigger bang for your buck. And they’re easier to store.
