Does anyone care?

Continuity means a lot to me. What’s been going on since New 52/Rebirth has been driving me farther and farther from DC. What has actually happened in continuity has gotten more and more blurred and it’s really irritating me. To the point where I mostly read old stuff from before New 52.

Pre New 52 is where my heart is, I agree the continuity was better then. I was greatly interested in Rebirth because it seemed like they were getting back to some of that, but there’s a shift away from that again. I hope it doesn’t jeopardize the overall success of DC.

Doesn’t bother me personally.

I think a lack of continuity definitely threatens DC as a whole. Sure, the will always be a Superman and a Batman. But something like The Dark Knight Returns wouldn’t have near as much impact if Miller didn’t have decades of stable continuity. How can any work be considered a “redefinition” if the character or its universe is constantly being redefined?
