I haven’t heard any news about yj season five and I’m trying not to loose hope and if not does anyone have arcs they would like to happen or new characters

Greg Weisman is currently working on the Gargoyles comics for Dynamite & Disney.
He wants to do a season 5 of Young Justice, but WBD has’nt greenlit it yet.
The show isn’t officially canceled but hasn’t been renewed either. Its just kind of in Limbo.

Hopefully it is canned and put out of its misery. If they were actually going to resolve things it would have happened years ago.

I would assume with the strikes we aren’t going to get any news for a while.
Hopefully, we will one day get a season 5. I don’t mind waiting.

To be honest, I don’t think we’re getting a fifth season. Even taking the strike out of it, the last two seasons weren’t very good and it doesn’t get talked about like it used to. It was a miracle we got the show back for DC Universe and HBO Max, but it doesn’t have the magic it used to.

While I loved the network seasons, when it came back it was just too brutal imo. For that reason its hard for me to watch, still haven’t gotten that far into s4, probably should just force myself to finish it lol.

I actually stopped watching it mid S2 because the time shift annoyed it, I felt S2 “didn’t have the magic” as @superby1 put it. I’m always in favor of more content, whether it’s personally for me or not, so don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t petition against a S5, and one of these days I will force myself to re-watch it.
I watched the Roy clones moving company episode or were they security disguised as movers? And liked it, but everytime I had heard conversation about S3 or S4 or saw clips or gifs, by and large, it annoyed me to no end, and I’m not someone to hate watch something.
Weisman is clearly very much like Timm, where he doesn’t hesitate to push in his own personal tastes, and those just happen to not be my speed. I prefer someone like James Tucker and what they did on Batman - Brave and the Bold (well, except for the batcentricness of those!) but we have gotten that, JL Action was promising but much too short per episode.

I’d happily watch more Young Justice but if any show needs a comeback it’s Green Lantern TAS. The most exciting episode of Young Justice for me was Razor’s comeback which basically said to everyone “Hey, remember how good GL TAS was?”

Agreed! I still want them to pick up on the other Green Lantern with a cape 
I feel like we would’ve seen Alan if a third season happened.

Yeah! I’d have loved to see Green Lantern TAS introduce Alan Scott! I also wanted them to continue Razor and Aya’s story, show the downfall of Sinestro, and, of course, keep developing Hal Jordan! Seriously, the TAS version of Hal has got to be the BEST adaptation of him (along with the New Frontier movie)!
