The Dialogue is that of an intentionally naive and thus slightly un-relatable character. (It’s okay Vertigo stories are FILLED with characters so beyond the mundane, they are un-relatable, and that’s the challenge to get us to relate to Dorthy, Mister Nobody, Lucifer, Dream of the Endless, Swamp-Thing and all the other cosmic abstracts presented to us int he form of a person)
The Makeup is also an incredible challenge to emote through. She is largely left with annunciation and verbal tone, with which to express Dorthy’s emotions.
