Pete Tomasi & Jeph Loeb are honorable mentions though. Tomasi did Jurgens Justice to the fullest with “The Death of Superman” film. That was probably the best DCAMU film there’s been to date. And not to mention his run over the last couple years getting Superman back to the place we know & love him.
Maggin! Bates and Bryne for me. I did like Rucka’s short run a lot.
I just finished Grant Morrisons run on Action Comics in the Mew 52 and loved it. But the American Alien series from Max Landis might be my favorite superman writing of all time
